4 Days Murchison Falls National Park Safaris and Chimpanzee Tracking in Budongo Forest.

Murchison falls National Park is the largest of Uganda’s national park and one of its very best. Animals here are in plentiful supply and the raging Murchison falls a sight to behold. The amazing of this park never ceases to amaze visitors  and residents alike , no visit  to Murchison falls national park is complete without a visit to the top of the falls where it is narrow from 50  metres  to crash through  a 7 metres gorge  falling 45 metres to the rocks  below , other resident in this park  are lions , the Uganda kobs and other antelopes as well as elephants , buffalo’s ,giraffes, hippos, baboons, leopards, and over 650 different species of bird have been recorded here making it a prime target for birdwatchers
Day 1: Kampala –Murchison
Our guide will meet you at your hotel in the early morning. Begin the paranomic drive to North West of Uganda through the famous Luweero triangle and masindi Town to Murchison falls national park. Proceed to the falls where you can see the Nile perfectly. Enjoy the sunset and drive to paraa safari lodge for luxury/ red chill Rest Camp for midrange /Bush campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Murchison national park safari
   After an early breakfast. Head for a game drive through the scenic northern bank of the river Nile. The activity takes about 3-5 hours. Explore the parks amazingly highly concentration of wildlife like elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, hartebeests, Uganda kobs, Oribis and waterbucks
 After the drive you will return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon go for a launch cruise on the Albertine Nile which will give you an exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the might Murchison falls. Along the cruise you will encounter crocodiles, hippos and birds. Dinner and overnight at at Paraa safari lodge for luxury / Sambiya River lodge for midrange/ red chill’s camp for budget
Day 3: Murchison –Budongo Forest
Have Game Drive in Murchison searching for the wild birds like shoebill and other animals. After return to the lodge and prepare for the Drive.
Head to Budongo Forest near the Gate of the Park in Masindi and prepare for the chimpanzees tracking.
Day 4: chimpanzee trekking
Early morning after breakfast. Go for briefing. You will be given a guard that will lead you through the trek. The guide will be in a position to explain to you the characteristics and lifestlyes of the chimps. The trip is a very interesting one especially because of the fact that there is a big possibility of sighting other primates and also getting information about some plants species from the guide.
After lunch from the park headquarter campsite drive back to Kampala . marking the end of the trip
